This iPhone camera feature may be annoying but you can disable it

I tested this feature using music applications, Spotify and Podcast and I was able to play music or audio from all three applications while recording a video. They are probably not all the applications with which the feature works.

Will the audio play when shooting on the screen records?

How is the audio quality in the video?

Apple writes in the description of the audio audio reproduction that the audio is played through the speaker of your iPhone and then recorded in mono using your iPhone device microphone, which is probably why the audio quality suffers.

Microphones on the equipment can work in environments with some external sounds-like an interview in a quiet room-but they usually result in subpual quality with more complex sounds or in noisy environments. According to Captioning Ava, microphones in the device generally do not provide the same sound capture skills as external microphones, which can result in weaker audio quality.

Moreover, registering something in mono compresses audio elements and can make things sound flat and less dynamic, according to the manufacturer of audio devices.

Fortunately, if the quality of the music in your videos is wrong, there is a way to turn this feature.

How to stop recording music in the background of video on iPhone

Now when you record a video, your iPhone will stop any music or audio from playing until you have finished registration.
